Remember, the Pirates play losers in the NL and the Red Sox play sluggers in the AL. What do you think?

ok screw everything i just said. I thought the pirates were just as bad as last year in terms of pitching.
But to answer your question, I think Paul Maholm has really good potential as a young left hander, but stuff-wise, I would take Jon Lester. Zach Duke vs. Beckett, Beckett of course.
Dice-k I would take easily over Olendorf, and Smoltz/Penny over Karstens.
The Pirates have put up great numbers with their rotation thus far, and although they have pretty good young talent, I find it unlikely that they’ll sustain this start and that is why I’ll take the Sox rotation.
