Clemente Family Looks to Expand Legacy and Mission with Sports 1 Marketing

The Hall of fame Pittsburgh Pirate, Roberto Clemente, did much more than achieve on the field, he set a moral standard for all professional athletes that succeeded him. Clementeâs humanitarian work earned him awards such as the Congressional Gold Medal and Presidential Citizens Medal. For XX years, the Roberto Clemente award, which is given annually to the MLB player who best exemplifies Clementeâs humanitarian work and involvement.
