About the Authors
Deanita McCall is a Certified Public Accountant with over thirteen years of experience in the Accounting and Corporate arena. A native of Fort Worth, Texas, she received a Bachelorâs of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Howard University, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Urban League of Central Carolinas and City Dive, Inc. She and her husband, Dwoski, reside in Charlotte, North Carolina and have one son.
Foshanta Garth is currently an Assistant General Manager of Finance and Administration for one of the countryâs largest transportation corporations. She is a graduate of Howard University with a degree in Business AdministrationâAccounting. She has over 14 years of combined Accounting and Auditing experience in Corporate America. For the past six years, she has held the Treasurer position on the Executive Board of her homeowners association. She is a native of Mayflower, AR but currently resides in Lake Ridge, VA (suburb of Washington, DC).
