Viviré, an interactive studio in San Juan, Puerto Rico today announced the launching of Cubstherapy.com (http://www.cubstherapy.com) a website that allows fans of the Chicago Cubs to share their feelings and memories, good or bad, about the the team.

“The idea of the site came after the Cubs were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs. My brother, who is a life-long fan, was really depressed about it and we thought other fans could feel better by sharing their feelings,” said Edgardo JimĂ©nez, designer of the site. “Although the Cubs are associated with losing and suffering fans we knew that the team brings people together, we also wanted to show that.”

Cubs in Puerto Rico

The Chicago Cubs have a large fan base in Puerto Rico, only rivaled by the New York Yankees and Mets, so it should come as no surprise that a fan site was created there. Some argue that the main reason for the Cubs following is that WGN has been carried in local cable networks for years.
