Cubscast Founders Announce Open Call for Bulls, Bears, Blackhawks, White Sox Podcasters

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) September 27, 2005

The creators of Cubscast, the first Chicago sports podcast, invite you to audition for an opportunity to have your opinion on everything Bulls, Bears, Blackhawks, or White Sox heard by thousands of listeners each week as a part of the newly created Chicago Sportscast Network (http://chicagosportscasts.com).

The Chicago Sportscast Network (CSN), a hub for on-demand sports talk for every major Chicago team, will be accepting auditions during the month of October for their shows (called “podcasts”) for the Bears, Bulls, White Sox, and Blackhawks.

Dedicated, knowledgeable fans can audition online or by telephone with the possibility to ultimately share their wisdom (or dementia) 2 or more times per week to an interactive audience that is eager to listen and respond to what they have to say.

It’s easy to audition. Just go to http://chicagosportscasts.com and fill out the audition form specific to your team. Also, anyone can call our audition hotline at 773-828-4396. Groups of 2 or more fans are encouraged to apply, and no past experience broadcasting is necessary. Have fun with it and let us hear how you sound.

What’s in it for the new podcasters? Besides the great local press coverage (cha-ching), podcasting on your favorite Chicago team is an opportunity to get recognized in the broadcasting field for your unique style and fresh perspective. Have a blast interviewing celebrity fans, players, front office staff, and franchise fixtures. You will have total content control of your podcast, and the Cubscast guys guarantee, you will have a lot of fun.

Each podcast will have its own interactive website that you can utilize to interact with other die-hard fans, hold weekly contests or giveaways, take opinion polls on your team’s players or performance, and much more. Also, any profit from advertising in your podcast is shared equally. IsnÂ’t it about time your thoughts on your team’s front office decisions paid part of your rent? We think so.

Good luck! Auditions will be accepted through Friday, October 28.
