Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) February 19, 2007
Fantasy baseball fans can now access free online tools to help them select their optimal starting hitters and pitchers at Fantasy Baseball Starters.com. The new Web site, powered by Ready-Set-Go Fantasy Sports, LLC (RSGFS), is offering free access to its patent-pending Line-Up Analyzer and Pitching Analyzer software to anyone who registers before April 17 at www.FantasyBaseballStarters.com.
The Web-based analyzer tools are driven by a computer algorithm that provides customized recommendations – based on thousands of statistical calculations and user inputs – taking into account what teams the players will be facing, pitching conditions, and more. After analyzing the user’s roster and other variables, the tools make dynamic recommendations that change and improve over time, as more data (from actual games played) is loaded into the system.
“We are ecstatic about offering fantasy baseball players the industry’s first dynamic fantasy baseball advice,” said Jeff Coruccini, president and CEO of RSGFS, which also maintains the popular FantasyFootballStarters.com. “Our fantasy football tools are proven winners, and we’re taking that know-how and applying it to baseball, where there is a tremendous thirst for accurate pitching analysis and other fantasy baseball help.”
Until RSGFS debuted Fantasy Baseball Starters.com, fantasy baseball cheat sheets have traditionally been static (not automatically updated) and generic (not customized to the user’s own roster). By contrast, the analyzer tools — which require no download or software installation — are updated 24/7 and take into account each user’s own roster, league requirements and individual scoring system.
After April 17, the fantasy baseball Line-Up Analyzer and Pitching Analyzer may be purchased for $ 9.95 each. However, users who register at FantasyBaseballStarters.com before April 17 will receive a 50 percent discount on the products when they go on sale later this year.
“With the launch of our new site, Fantasy Baseball Starters.com is taking fantasy baseball help to the next level,” said Coruccini. “We know that after users try our free online tools, they will clearly see the value in purchasing a season pass – good for the entire 2007 Major League Baseball season – for just $ 9.95.”
In addition to the free online fantasy baseball tools, Fantasy Baseball Starters.com also houses free user forums, fantasy baseball articles, a fantasy baseball blog and (coming soon) fantasy baseball podcasts featuring Evan Cohen, a Phoenix-based sports radio personality.
Fantasy baseball is the second most popular fantasy sport in the U.S., with an estimated 3 million players, according to the Fantasy Sports Trade Association (FSTA). With the average fantasy sports player spending $ 150 annually to participate, fantasy sports have an economic impact of nearly $ 2 billion, the FSTA says.
