Cubs reach minor league deals with Looper, Ojeda
Right-hander Braden Looper and infielder Augie Ojeda have agreed to minor league contracts with the Chicago Cubs and have been invited to spring training. The Cubs open camp for pitchers and catchers on Feb. 13 in Mesa, Ariz. The 36-year-old Looper last pitched in 2009 with Milwaukee. He went 14-7 with a 5.22 ERA and led the league in homers and earned runs allowed.
