Fifty years ago my family and I flew on a commuter helicopter from O’Hare Airport to Meigs Field. We then went to Wrigley Field to watch Ernie Banks, Billy Williams, Ron Santo and the Chicago Cubs take on Curt Flood, Stan “the man” Musual and the St. Louis Cardinals. Please note the Cub fan slamming his hands down as the Cards hit a home run. It’s comforting to know that somethings never change
