Jose Tabata takes BP with the Scottsdale Scorpions before a 2009 Arizona Fall League contest. In the summer of 2008, Tabata was acquired by the Pittsburgh Pirates with Ross Ohlendorf, Jeff Karstens and Daniel McCutchen from the New York Yankees in exchange for Xavier Nady and Damaso Marte.
