Question by Phillies 2008 WS Champions!: Did Brian Sabean put a curse on the Florida Marlins?
Since the game where Buster Posey got his leg broken by a Marlin, the Marlins have gone 4-18 and second place one game behind the Phillies to last place, 11.5 games back.
Sabean is the SF Giants General Manager.
Jon, the Phillies own play is what got them in 1st place. Give us the credit we are due. We have a very good team.

Yes. Our great Shaman Sabean put a curse on the lowly Marlins! No I don’t think so, I just think the Marlins aren’t as good as everyone thought they were. Why are you complaining? Their misfortune put your Phils in an easy 1st place. My Giants are still scrapping to maintain the lead in the West. Good Luck to your boys, hope to see you in the NLCS again!
