Cleveland Indians Big Night (9-8-95)

Sept. 8, 1995 was a super night for the Cleveland Indians as they clinched the American League Central Division, the first championship since 1954. The evening was also high lighted by the appearance of Cal Ripken who broke Lou Gehrig’s streak of 2130 games the night before. Hence, much pomp celebrating Ripken and the Indians championship.
