Question by Rick31: Which of the 3 teams vying for the final 2 National League playoff slots will actually go to the playoffs?
Philadelphia and Cincinnati are in. Either San Francisco or San Diego will win the West, but either of them could be the wild card or it could be Atlanta. Which 2 teams will fill the last 2 playoff slots?
I hope you are all right about the Braves. I am a Braves fan and I think a playoff appearance would be so fitting in Bobby Cox’s last year.

There is absolutely no reason why Atlanta shouldn’t go in. They have a small problem facing the Phillies for 3 games. But San Diego faces the Giants and the Giants will probably need 2 of 3 to win the division.

It’s tight. But the Braves control their destiny. If they keep winning they shut the door on the Padres.

I said last week Tim Hudson must step up and win 2 games. He’s pitching tonight…..
