Question by intheicecreamvan: What kind of plane did the Cleveland Indians have in Major League?
In the movie Major League, the Cleveland Indians had a poorly-kept plane which used propellers rather than jet engines. What kind of plane was used in the movie? I haven’t seen it in a few years but I’ve been wondering for a couple days now.
That’s what I thought, but last time I saw the movie was before I took an interest in pre-jetliner transport aircraft. I’ll have to go through and take another look next time I see it coming on.
DC-3 is an awesome plane.

It was a Douglas DC-3
