Here is my Chicago Cubs official photo taken while at spring training in Mesa, AZ in 2009.
Despite growing a Reed Johnson style beard in hopes of improving my chances of making the team, I got sent back down to the minors.
I did get promoted from Rookie League to AA though, so I’m pretty happy. As a right fielder I’m thinking I’ve still got a chance to get called up at some point when Milton Bradley is on the DL. I can totally out hit Joey Gathright.
