I made this video in In 1999. The Cleveland Indians had restored the hopes and aspirations of every sports fan in Cleveland who hoped, wished, dreamed that a little miracle would fall on our city and grant the league their first World Series Championship. Well, as fate always does, it stepped in and took it away from us, but we didn’t let it go without a fight. This video is a tribute to the inspiring group of players that made up the Cleveland Indians roster in 1999. Their efforts, their dedication, and their sportsmanship was the stuff of dreams. From 1994 – 1999 Jacob’s Field was every Cleveland fan’s Field of Dreams. Those dreams always slipped through our fingers, but the team never gave up. That winning spirit is captured in this hit song by Kenny Loggins from the Top Gun soundtrack.
