Kickball365 Now Kicking Coast-to-Coast – Local Social and Competitive Leagues Ready to Open
Washington, DC (PRWEB) August 01, 2011
Building on a successful first half of 2011, Kickball365, the largest competitive kickball organization in the U.S., is introducing its new league platform that will help local organizers bring the growing popularity of kickball to the local level. With a strong organizational support team already in place and burgeoning group of participants and followers across the country, Kickball365’s Circuit Leagues and Social Leagues are now available to local league operators and recreational sport chairpersons to help them establish competitive kickball leagues and tournaments anywhere.
“Kickball365 plans to work closely with its partners and existing community to set them up for success,” said Circuit co-founder Matt Kemph. “We’ve installed a solid foundation that event managers and league commissioners can build on to create their own social and competitive kickball leagues right in their own backyards. We plan to help interested parties not only set up and organize the league, but also work, help organize and work with them every step of the way to ensure that the participants get the most enjoyable experience possible.”
Kickball365 Leagues
Kickball365 offers both Competitive and Social Leagues in select cities across America. Competitive League offerings were established to attract top-flight, competitive kickball players, using a rulebook that promotes a fast, wide-open style of game play. Social Leagues are unique social experiences where players can play the game they love and party with a bunch of fun, new people throughout the season and beyond.
For those interested in creating a kickball league, Kickball365 provides a dedicated team to help with registration, promotion and marketing, referee training, and provides tools to help you manage schedules and standings. Kickball365 also allows league managers to tap into the existing national component of traveling kickball. Having successfully organized competitive kickball tournaments in Washington DC, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Virginia Beach, Albuquerque and Ft. Lauderdale, and with tournaments scheduled in New York City and Las Vegas later this year, local leagues receive the added benefit of existing exposure and visibility.
Kickball365 Tournaments
“Our tournament platform, The Circuit, has quickly built a reputation as a home for great, impassioned athletes and very well-run events,” said Matt Kemph. “What we aim to do now is bring that same social experience to the local level, by seeking out the same type of managers and players who thrive in this environment and want to get the same experience they get when they travel the country, but in their hometown. We have no doubt that our style of kickball will meet a receptive audience that will be thrilled to find Kickball365 and its offering of The Circuit readily available to them at home.”
In its second year, Kickball 4 The Kids is now one of the top three largest kickball tournaments west of the Mississippi. 500 participants on 32 teams gathered in Albuquerque for this year’s tournament. The Event Manger, Zack Wright, partnered with Kickball365 to run and promote the Albuquerque Circuit event and said that he plans to do the same again next year.
“This year’s tournament was a huge success,” said Wright. “The turnout was great and while we primarily attracted teams from the Southwest and West, and we had a number of individual participants who flew out from the East Coast. We’ve also already received interest from a few East Coast teams in next year’s tournament. Matt and his team helped us run a flawless tournament and we look forward to working with them again in 2012 and beyond.”
Jon Simon, co-event manager for the South Florida Kickball Open, has had a similar experience working with Kickball365 on his annual event. “We offered our first tournament in 2008 and had less than 10 teams attend. This year we had almost 30 teams from across the country. Matt and his team have definitely helped us scale up to meet with the demand. In particular this past tournament they worked closely with us in organizing and training the local ASA (American Softball Association) referees that officiated our games. This is always one of the most difficult variables to manage in any tournament and they did an excellent job. His group really helped us run a very professional and organized event.”
