Question by texascool: Should Major League Baseball realign again?
Should the Washington Nationals switch to the American League East and the Kansas City Royals move to the American League West, with the Pittsburgh Pirates move to the National League East to even out the AL and the NL with 15 teams each?
The Toronto Blue Jays would move to the AL Central.

No the reason they don’t have 15 teams in each league is because if they did there would always be either an interleague game or a team with 3 days in a row off. Interleague play is a nice thing a few times a year but if they had to have it all the time it wouldn’t work, they would have to switch the rules so both leagues either used the DH or didn’t. 16 and 14 works so every team always has a series to play and doesn’t get extra time off.
