Great Walls Mural Company Donates Mural To St. Leo’s Soup Kitchen In Detroit

(PRWEB) April 25, 2004

Great Walls Mural Company has donated a beautiful, peaceful landscape mural to the Soup Kitchen at St. LeoÂ’s Catholic Church in Detroit.

The company creates murals of any size for inside or outside walls. The guests of the soup kitchen were polled for their suggestions as to the theme of the mural. It features a dramatic waterfall flowing into a lily pond.

This mural is 12Â’x 12Â’ and is painted on the wall inside the entrance to the soup kitchen where the guests wait in line for their lunch.

Anne Jantz, Sharon OÂ’Hara-Bruce, and Donnie Clark designed and painted the mural. St. LeoÂ’s is near the old Tiger Stadium and is the church of Bishop Thomas Gumbleton.

The renovation of the Soup Kitchen was a project coordinated by Anne Jantz’s classmate, Michelle Randazzo for their Landmark Education SELP (Self Expression and Leadership Program. It can be seen on the company’s website: http://greatwalls.net.
