Bluegreen Arizona Paradise, Cibola Vista Resort and Spa Prepare for All-Star Game

Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) June 17, 2011

Bluegreen Corporation (NYSE: BXG), a leading provider of Colorful Places to Live and Play, today announced that its Arizona resort, Cibola Vista Resort and Spa, is a prime location for owners to stay while attending the 2011 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, July 12.

It will be the 82nd in-season exhibition game held between the selected All-Stars of the National League and the American League. This year’s event will be held at Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, in Phoenix, Ariz., and the winning league will have home field advantage in the World Series. This year’s All-Star Game will also bring historical significance, as it will be not only the first All-Star game to be ever held in Arizona, but also the first game in a National League Park to have a designated hitter.

Bluegreen owners know that there is no better place to prepare for the game than their desert oasis. Cibola Vista Resort, which is nestled between Lake Pleasant and Phoenix, provides the perfect vacation experience for resort owners and their families. Named for the Seven Cities of Cibola, which were believed to contain untold riches, the resort provides its own riches with the finest amenities. Whether it is the top-notch fitness room, the poolside bar, the three-story water slide that winds through the desert landscape, or the Cibola Vista horse riding program, this gem is sure to satisfy. The Southwestern décor of its villas and suites are accompanied by amazing courtyards, gardens and fountains, which are all connected with a series of walkways.

Besides the Major League event, area attractions are plentiful. A resort concierge can set up a tee time at one of the many local golf courses. Owners can also enjoy a myriad of water sports on picturesque Lake Pleasant or travel to Sedona to view spectacular red-rock formations. For a change of pace, a hot-air balloon ride will provide plenty of picture-taking possibilities as it floats over the West Valley.

“We are very proud to have the All-Star game in our backyard,” Bluegreen’s Rick Kinert said. “It allows our owners another prime event to add to their already fantastic vacation experience.”
