Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 13, 2011

The Los Angeles Dodgers are always searching for unique opportunities to dedicate their home games and special events to thank and welcome their loyal fans worldwide to visit their largest seating ballpark stadium. Now in their third successful year of partnership with Taiwan Tourism Bureau, the Dodgers will give away Hong-Chih Kuo bobbleheads to fans at their June 14 game against Cincinnati. The special bobblehead promotion was created to help celebrate Taiwan’s (ROC) 100 years anniversary.

Pitcher Hong-Chih Kuo, longest-turned Dodger, said “I am honored that the Dodgers made a bobblehead for me, and most of all I thank the fans for their support. I am proud to represent Taiwan in the Major League, and I hope more Taiwanese players will have the opportunity that I have.”

In addition to the bobblehead promotion, the Dodgers and Taiwan Tourism Bureau have created a special “Taiwan Night” on August 13 to welcome their U.S. Taiwanese fans, and to maintain Taiwan’s brand image with their diversified loyal fans. In addition, the close partnership has provided Taiwan Tourism Bureau with home plate permanent signage, LED signage, and a promotional Taiwan video to be displayed on DodgerVision throughout the season.
