Olivo’s 2 HRs lead Mariners over Tigers 7-3
For four innings, the Seattle Mariners couldn’t hit a ball out of the infield. Then Miguel Olivo hit one out of the park. “I think that kind of woke us up a little bit,” teammate Brendan Ryan said. Olivo hit two home runs and Felix Hernandez pitched eight innings to lead the Mariners to a 7-3 victory over the Detroit Tigers on Sunday.
