Dodgers notebook: Catcher Ellis back in LA
As soon as Rod Barajas was hurt in Los Angeles, a cellphone rang in a dugout in Albuquerque. When Barajas suffered a sprained ankle on Saturday, the Dodgers called to have catcher A.J. Ellis pulled from the game he was playing with the Isotopes. Shortly thereafter, Ellis learned he was coming back to LA.
