Position: Cook 1 Location: Oakland Marriott City Center, CA Description: This is an Interstate Hotels and Resorts Position. Additional Information: Are you an experienced cook with a desire for growth in the culinary world? The successful candidate for this position must understand the workings of a hotel kitchen, be able to maintain control over all banquets, resolve basic food situations and be a leader and flexible thinker. S/He must have great knife skills, understand timing of food in Banquet situations. Good written and verbal skills, computer literacy and ability to communicate with all departments are critical. Minimum 5 years kitchen experience is required, supervisory experience preferrable.
