Question by ccnice1: Why are there only 4 MLB Teams in the American League West and 6 MLB Teams in the National League Central?
As far as competitive balance goes this does not seem fair to me since each divisional champ gets into the playoffs.

Agreed. I think it has something to do with the Suckiness of the Mets.
