Question by staggmovie: Chicago Cubs fans: What do you think about the Tribune Company’s choice for the new owner?
The Tribune Company has selected the Ricketts family to become the next owner of the Chicago Cubs. And it sounds like that Tom Ricketts will be the primly be the owner of the Chicago Cubs. And yes, I know that it is not a done deal yet, the sale has to be approved of by the MLB owners. And it sounds like they will pay $ 900 million to purchase the Chicago Cubs, and this is a team that I wouldn’t even pay 10 cents to own, and of course that wouldn’t be enough to own the Chicago Cubs.

I think it’s great that a Cubs fan will finally own the Cubs…… why do you ask / answer so many Cubs questions if you hate them?
