Parc Communitiesâ Residents Compete in Wii National Senior League Competition

Parc Communities is a member of the Wii National Senior League, which sponsors virtual Wii bowling and golf tournaments for senior living communities and senior centers across the United States. Wii has become one of the most popular events at Parcâs metro-Atlanta retirement communities and provides hours of fun, exercise and camaraderie for the residents.
Residents of Parc Communitiesâ Parcers Wii bowling team recently won the Wii National Senior League trophy in the Conference Bowling Competition. In addition, the Parc Communitiesâ Wii Golf League, the âWinners,â placed first out of eleven national teams. One of the retirement community residents, known as Dixie Dolly, golfed a league best at seven under par.
Residents enjoy time with friends while also exercising their minds and bodies. âI feel like Iâm not missing out. I used to be an avid golfer and bowler, so this it allows me to still participate. I really enjoy playing with my friends; we all love the friendly competition,â said Dolly Fyffe, resident at Parc at Duluth.
The virtual tournaments are taking place in senior living communities and senior centers across the country. There are three weeks of tournament play before the playoff.
