Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) May 30, 2008
InventHelp’s INPEX® Invention Show announces that there will be in excess of 1,500 inventions at the 2008 trade show, held June 11-14th at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh.
According to trade show director, Nicole Hait, “This is the biggest showing ever for our invention show. We anticipate at least 20 percent more inventions will be on display for qualified business attendees to view. INPEX® is America’s Largest Invention Trade Show and it appears to be growing every year. Because of the growth of the show, we have moved INPEX® 2008 to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, the world’s largest “green” convention center. The convention center is situated on the banks of the Allegheny River, and is one of the most picturesque convention centers in America.”
INPEX® expects to have inventors from 18 countries at the 2008 show. Inventors from all over the world are invited to attend and present their ideas to attending companies. There are many events for inventors, including the INPEX® Inventor’s Universityâ¢, seminars where inventors can receive information on topics such as patenting, prototyping, copyrights, trademarks, etc. As for evening events, the exhibitors can attend a Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game on Wednesday, or the Everlast Black and Gold Boxing Invitational, held on Friday evening, June 13, which begins at 7:30 p.m. and is open to the public as well. On Saturday, June 14, after the close of the show floor, INPEX® will hold its International Awards Dinner and Ceremony. Inventors have a chance to win gold, silver or bronze medals in over 50 product categories, and could also win one of three cash prizes; $ 2,000, $ 3,000 or the grand prize of $ 7,500.
Inventions at INPEX® run the gamut from rough prototype to finished/market-ready products. Inventors with secured intellectual property rights are encouraged to participate in the INPEX® 2008 trade show or at future INPEX® shows. “Coming to INPEX® is a very positive experience for inventors,” said Hait. “They learn at the University, they enjoy events such as the Pirate game and they have the opportunity to mingle and network with other inventors from all over the world.”
Many companies also come to INPEX® to scout for new products. This year, companies such as The Robert Bosch Tool Corporation, Everlastâ¢, Hasbro, Tupperware®, Irwin® Industrial Tools and FullLife⢠Products will be conducting private product reviews to search for new products to add to their existing lines. Inventors with products in those categories have the opportunity to meet with executives from these companies one-on-one to receive feedback about their inventions. The “As Seen on TV” panel, sponsored by Response Magazine, allows inventors to present their ideas to a panel of TV marketing professionals, experienced in the fields of infomercials and home shopping, for feedback on its potential on television.
