Montreal, QC; Newton, MA (PRWEB) July 24, 2006
The Product Management View (www.featureplan.com/community), the product management and marketing community blog sponsored by FeaturePlan⢠(www.featureplan.com) and the Software 500 Marketing Perspectives (SMP) Conference (www.smpevent.com) today announced its second Call For Speakers for the Product Management View Webinar Series. Following on the footsteps of its original Call for Speakers which resulted in hundreds of applications, FeaturePlan and the SMP have extended the search to the larger product management and marketing community.
The Webinar Series is dedicated to product management and marketing issues, and is promoted to over 50,000 practitioners in those fields. The first round of 45-minute webinars were recorded, converted into video and Podcast, and posted on the blog for the product management and marketing community. These webinars, which have no cost to either the speakers or the listeners, have attracted several high-caliber speakers presenting on best practices product management and marketing issues such as:
The Strategic Role of Product Management, by Steve Johnson, VP at Pragmatic Marketing
Product-to-Market Methodology, by Neil Parrott, Senior Marketing Manager, Filenet
Marketing in the Innovation Economy, by Larry Weber, Chairman & Founder, W2 Group.
All archived webinars are available to the general public, and can be found at http://www.featureplan.com/community/categories/webinar_archive/.
âThe goal of the Product Management View blog is to provide value to the product management community in the form of thought leadership,â said Russell Foy, VP Sales and Marketing of Ryma Technology Solutions, the makers of FeaturePlan. âThe webinars are attracting hundreds of viewers per month through word of mouth, Product Management Associations postings, and blog referrals. This is a great opportunity for speakers to gain exposure in the product management space.â
âWe are extremely pleased with the success of the Webinar Series,â said John Desmond, founder and president of King Content, and SMP Conference Chair. âBoth established and aspiring speakers in the product management community greatly appreciate the opportunity to showcase their knowledge and share it with their peers. We have received a very positive reaction from these webinars, and look forward to continued success with a new batch of speakers.â
Potential speakers are urged to submit their speech topic, a one-paragraph description, and a biography to foy.r@rymatech.com. Nominations for speakers are also welcome.
