Question by Chad: Why are the Washington Nationals acting like the Montreal Expos never exist?
NO signs of any Expos in their stadium and never mentioned. It is like the Nationals totally erased Expos from their history! i saw Milwaukee braves/boston braves in turner field

The nationals do wear expo jerseys for their throwback uniforms. Its just that the montreal expos never had that franchise player that defines the team. They had their share of all-stars and hall of famers, but never had that one player that you automatically thought “Expo” when you said his name. The Expos also didn’t have too many winning ballclubs while they played, only made 1 playoff appearance, and didn’t have a huge fanbase. They are having new HoF member Andre Dawson throw out the first pitch an Aug 10th.
