Some cool Chicago Cubs images:
Kerry Wood Chicago Cubs 1998-2008

The Chicago Cubs have stated that they will not be attempting to resign free agent Kerry Wood.
Kerry Wood was one of the most popular cubs of the last couple decades as well as an active charity fundraiser in the Chicago area.
His career highlights included the memorable game against the Houston Astros on May 5th, 1998. In only his fifth start in the majors Kerry Wood tied the major league record by striking out 20 batters in a single game.
Kerry Wood made four trips to the postseason as a Chicago Cub, more than any other player ever probably.
He also made several trips to the disabled list and along with Mark Prior came to represent the unfulfilled potential and disappoint of Cubdom.
Then he came back from potentially career ending surgery and almost retirement to reinvent himself as a closer and led the Cubs to the playoffs yet again in 2008.
(We all know how that ended)
Kerry Wood leaves town with his head held high and the respect and love of many delusional Cubs fans.
Much Respect Kerry and Best of Luck!
Reed Johnson – Chicago Cubs Outfielder 2009

A year ago at this time, Reed Johnson was a relatively anonymous outfielder in Toronto who simply was trying to win a roster spot in the Blue Jays’ camp.
Now he’s a vital cog in the Cubs’ clubhouse, a cult favorite in the Wrigley Field bleachers and one of the more recognizable athletes in Chicago due to his patented "goat" beard.

I think that sums it up well. Reed Johnson came to Chicago and won over fans quickly with his hard play. I became a fan, as did many others when I saw him make an amazing diving catch against Washington on April 26, 2008. It was the first month of his first season and we were still getting to know him as a player. This one play showed us what kind of player he was and the catch was recognized as one of the best of the year. It’s been all good since then and he’s produced big on the field and at the plate.
Go Cubs!
