Van Nuys, CA (PRWEB) August 20, 2010
Easton Sports, the industry leader in technologically advanced sports equipment, and the Central Hockey League, today announced a partnership wherein Easton will become an official equipment supplier of the CHL during the 2010-2011 season.
âWe are extremely excited about Eastonâs involvement and thrilled to be working with them,â said Duane Lewis, Commissioner for the CHL. âEaston is always at the cutting edge of technology when it comes to hockey gear, and thatâs crucial.â
For the first time in six seasons, CHL players will be allowed to choose the Easton brand when it comes to sticks, pants and gloves not just skates and helmets. This partnership will only further add to the amount of Easton gear seen on players in the CHL in 2010.
âIt is evident from watching hockey at all levels, from the NHL to the Olympics to games at local rinks, that Easton has become the premier hockey brand,â said Mark Hughes of Easton Hockey. âWe look forward to expanding this relationship throughout the season and watching the CHL continue to grow in popularity.â
The arrangement will go into effect after the conclusion of the 2009-2010 season and the products will be on the ice from the drop of the opening puck of the 2010-2011 season.
