Comerica Park opened in 2000 as the new home of the Detroit Tigers. Fans in Detroit absolutely love this new ballpark. It hosted the Major League Baseball All-Star Game in 2005 – and the Tigers were in the World Series in 2006. Armando Galaraga recently pitched his “almost perfect game” here. Comerica Park has also had concerts by Bruce Springsteen, the Dave Matthews Band, and Detroit’s own Kid Rock and Eminem.
