Checker Sedan, the official luxury sedan service of Detroit Metro Airport, was recently named a winner in Michigan Meetings & Events magazine’s Best of 2008 in the Transportation category.
Winners are determined by readers of Michigan Meetings & Events around the state who nominated their favorites in 24 categories. Winners were honored at Michigan Meetings & Events 3rd Annual Best of Awards on March 5.

Debuting in 2000, Checker Sedan has earned a number of awards, in addition to its contract as the official luxury sedan service of Detroit Metro Airport.
Recently, Checker Sedan was also honored in WDIV’s “Best of Detroit” contest for “Best Limousine Service in Detroit.” The first annual contest allowed local viewers to nominate and select their favorite service providers and retailers.
Checker Sedan features luxury vehicles and signature services, including free bottled water, wheelchair-accessible vans, and child/infant car seats among others. The company has a fleet of more than 100 Cadillac DES, Lincoln Town Car and Chrysler 300 sedans, plus a fleet of motor coaches and mini-buses, which are available for group travel, corporate events and shuttle programs.
