Based in Baltimore, Maryland – the Orioles are a professional baseball team which was founded back in 1901 when it started out playing for the American League. In 1901 the team was known as the Milwaukee Brewers but in 1902 they moved to St. Louis and were then known as the St. Louis Browns but come up it wasn’t until 1954 when the Browns decided to move to Baltimore when they find that he adopted the name they are known for today, the Orioles.
