Question by Not Sayin… Just Sayin!: Why are they called the “Los Angeles Angels” and not the “Anaheim Angels?”?
I’m not a DIE HARD baseball fan, but I’ve always been curious why they say… “The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim”…. instead of just the Anaheim Angels. Please explain if you know! Thanks.

Because LA is weird like that. There are some parts of LA that are considered LA but sometimes considered it’s own town like Wilmington. Sometimes it’s a town sometimes it’s just part of LA. Weird.
