About Yves Saint Laurent: The Retrospective

The first and only retrospective exhibition of Yves Saint Laurent’s entire body of work is proudly presented at the Denver Art Museum in Denver, Colorado March 25-July 8, 2012. The stunning collection showcases 200 haute couture designs by Yves Saint Laurent, spanning four decades and providing a unique insight into the evolution of fashion and “gender revolution” that prevailed. The creative genius of Saint Laurent is chronicled from when Christian Dior made him his top designer in 1955 to when he opened his own fashion house in Paris in 1961 and beyond. This is not a traveling exhibition; its one and only United States presentation is here in the Mile High City.
