Contemporary Services Corporation (CSC) was recently selected to provide services for Major League Baseball’s Kansas City Royals at their newly renovated Kauffman Stadium. This is the second Missouri branch location for CSC, who currently provides services for many clients and venues in and around the St. Louis area. The Kansas City branch location will be managed by Ryan Teofilo, who relocated from CSC’s Oklahoma City branch.

CSC will be providing security and event staff services for the Royals under the management of the team’s Director of Event Operations, Renee VanLaningham. The Royals opened their season on April 10th when they hosted the New York Yankees in front of a sold-out, standing room only crowd of more than 40,000. Fans were impressed with the upgrades to the stadium, which now features many luxury accommodations, including new suites, new premium seating, and the Diamond Club, a climate-controlled lounge that can seat 940 fans. Kauffman Stadium also features a 322-foot-wide water spectacular, the largest privately funded fountain in the world. CSC is extremely pleased to be affiliated with the Royals’ organization and looks forward to many years of partnership.

CSC is the world leader in fully-managed event staffing, crowd management, security and guest services for the entertainment and sporting event industries. CSC’s 42 years of experience have resulted in a loyal and esteemed client base, including more than 100 stadiums and arenas, over 50 universities and colleges, multiple convention centers, and numerous clients in the MLB, MLS, NBA, NFL, NHL, and NASCAR.
